KUALA LUMPUR (3 May 2013) – Defending SEA Games champions Malaysia are still without a win after five matches where this week, they were whitewashed 3-0 by Hungarian club Kaposvari Rakoczi FC in Budpest.
The loss was the team’s fifth friendly game in their European sojourn. They had begun their stay with a 1-1 draw against the Slovakian Under-19 team before losing 7-1 to the Georgian U21 team and 4-1 defeat at the hands of the Slovakian club side MSK Zilina.
They then conceded a scoreless draw against the Norwegian Under-19 squad.
The team under Ong Kim Swee is being prepared for the 27th SEA Games in Myanmar on 11-22 December 2013.
