SINGAPORE (26 Nov 2013) – Singapore Under-23 coach Aide Iskandar feels that there is no need to panic just yet in spite of their recent results and that his chargers will peak at the right time in Myanmar next month.
The Young Lions squad drew their two-match series against Cambodia with similar 1-0 score line from two matches played.
“I don’t think that there is any need to worry,” said Aide. “We will continue to work hard where the important factor is not to peak too soon.”
“We have the quality and the players are all eager to show what they are capable of.”
Singapore’s final friendly before they head out to Myanmar will be in a Charity match against the Philippines this Sunday.
