HO CHI MINH CITY (20 Nov 2013) – While the Vietnam women’s team head to China as their final tune-up for the SEA Games, the men’s team will just be playing friendlies in Binh Duong province.
The women’s team are already in Nanjing City and where they will be playing three friendly matches against local teams. The team will return to Hanoi on 2 December before flying off to Mandalay in Myanmar three days later.
At the SEA Games next month, Vietnam have been placed in Group A where they will take on Indonesia (10 December), the Philippines (13 December), and Myanmar (15 December).
In the meantime, the men’s U23 team will play three friendlies in Binh Duong Province.
They will take on First Division clubs – Tay Ninh (24 November), An Giang (27 November) and HCM City (30 November).
For the SEA Games, Vietnam are in Group A against Malaysia, Singapore, Laos and Brunei.
