JAKARTA (25 April 2013) – The FA of Indonesia (PSSI) have set a total budget of IDR 14 milliar (USD 1.4 million) for the national Under-23 team to carry their challenge to the SEA Games that will be hosted by Myanmar this year.
Edi Nurinda, the team manager of the Indonesia U23 team, said that the total expenditure will cover salaries just salaries alone.
“On a monthly basis, the chief coach will be paid some IDR 7 million (USD 720), the assistants IDR 6.5 million (USD 669) while the players will receive IDR 5 million (USD 515),” kata Edi.
In the meantime, chief coach Rahmad Darmawan has submitted the list of 30 players that will be called for centralised training Satlak Prima – the body in charge of athletes’ prearation.
“I have confirmed the list of 30 players but I cannot reveal them just yet,” said Rahmad.
