MANDALAY (10 Dec 2013) – The Myanmar women’s football team scored their first win in Group A of the event here at the SEA Games when they edged the Philippines 2-0 at the Mandalar Thiri Stadium in Mandalay.
Veteran striker Khin Marlar Tun opened account in the 29th minute before Than Than Htwe then added the second goal of the game in the 57th minute. Myanmar’s next match will be against defending champions Vietnam on 15 Dec 2013.
