HO CHI MINH (27 Sept 2013) – A last minute strike from Ha Minh Tuan gave the Vietnam Under-23 a hard-earned 2-1 win over a largely inexperienced Galatasaray FC youth side here tonight at the Thong Nhat Stadium.
A tight defence made the Galatasaray side hard to beat as the score at the end of the first half stayed at a stalemate. It was not until the 70th minute that Vietnam finally scored their first goal when a shot from Minh Tuan was blocked and which fell on Van Thang to slam in the rebound.
But in the end 88th minute, Galatasaray fought back with the equalizer when Sendar Demir made good off a corner before Minh Tuan then replied with the injury-time winner.
