YANGON (14 Dec 2013) – KBZ Bank, a sponsor of the 27th SEA Games, have come forward to offer a reward of USD 215,000 should the men’s football team win the gold this time.
The Myanmar football team will take on Thailand in a crucial tie which could make or break the team.
KBZ or Kanbawza are also financially backing the Myanmar’s women’s team to a total payout of around USD 100,000.
It is expected that more sponsors will come forward to offer rewards to the team should they make the semi-finals and then the final, with the total sum expected to reach USD1 million at least.
