KUALA LUMPUR (9 April 2013) – After four matches in their sojourn of Europe, the Harimau Muda squad under Ong Kim Swee has yet to score a win. In their last friendly match that was played on the weekend, the team was held scoreless by the Norwegian Under-19 squad in Budapest, Hungary.
“The draw showed that we still have some way to go yet,” said Kim Swee (pix). “We created the chances but we were just unable to make any of it counts.
“But defensively, the players were a lot more dsiciplined and they did not concede a goal which was important.”
The SEA Games defending champions had begun their European stay with a 1-1 draw against the Slovakian Under-19 team. They then fell to a 7-1 loss to the Georgian U21 team and 4-1 defeat at the hands of the Slovakian club side MSK Zilina.
