BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (9 Feb 2013) – Kwon Oh-son, the chief coach of the Brunei Under-23 team, is hoping to begin centralised training in March as they gear up for the SEA Games that will be hosted by Myanmar at the end of the year.
Following the several trials held over the past two months and which is expected to continue until the end of February, the Korean tactician said that he is looking to finalise an initial squad of 30 players before the addition of the eligible few from Hassanal Bolkiah Trophy in 2012 (pix) and also from the DST Super League.
“We are hoping to add ten more defenders and midfielders each, seven new strikers and four goalkeepers,” said Kwon Oh-son.
“The selection for new players will depend on how well they perform in the trial. Once we have finalised the team members, we are hoping to begin training in March.
