JAKARTA (16 Nov 2011) – Rahmad Darmawan, the chief coach of Indonesia, has announced that there will be no change in formation when they face Malaysia tomorrow evening at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium even though, the team is already through to the semi-finals of the SEA Games this year.
He said that while there will be a rotation of players to give them a run ahead of the next round, Rahmad insisted that they will still be all out to beat their close nemesis.
“I have yet to decide on the rotation to allow some of the other players the chance to see action while allowing those several players who have been playing throughout,” said Rahmad.
“But whatever the case may be, this is one game which we will be out to rake in the full points.”
Among the players that might see action tomorrow are Lucas Mandowen, Andrittany Ardhiyasa and Yericho Christiantoko.
“I have studied the Malaysian game and they are very well organised. They have quality,” added Rahmad. “This means we have to be more disciplined and not lose the ball often.”
