SINGAPORE (9 Aug 2008) – A dogged performance from the Super Reds saw them beating Tampines Rovers 3-2 as they made sure that the chase for the S-League crown remain open.
With league leaders SAFFC failing to pick up the full points against Gombak United, the win by the Super Reds made sure that they are within striking distance of the title. The Super Reds are currently third in the standings albeit with the same points as Home United following the latter’s 1-0 victory over Balestier Khalsa.
