ROYAL SWORD FC TOPS CAMBODIAN SECOND LEAGUE

Striker Sam El Nasa was the toast of Royal Sword when he nailed five goals in the 32nd, 53rd, 59th, 67th and 76th minute for the comprehensive victory.

The other goals for Royal Sword were scored by Chan Veasna (13th and 81st minute), Kao Kiri (24th minute), Bou Mesa (30th minute), So Seyha (42nd minute own goal) and Rith Dika (58th and 74th minute).

The only goal for Eastern Eagle FC came off Va Botra in the 28th minute.

With the three points in the bag, Royal Sword FC picked up from where they left off the previous week to score their second win in the competition when they overcame Navy FC 3-0 in the match which was played at the Kratie Province Centre.

Stout at the back, Royal Sword were all attack in the match for Chan Veasna to slam home in the 33rd minute before Nuth Sinuon added two further goals in the 59th and 69th minute.

The loss for Navy FC saw them picking up only a meagre point from two matches following their poor 1-1 draw against Moha Garuda FC.

Eastern Eagle FC who were whitewashed 12-1 by Royal Sword did no better in their second match of the competition when they were held to a 3-3 draw by a resilient Kandal FC at the Kandal Province Centre.

Two quick goals from Ouk Chan Dara in the third and seventh minute allowed Eastern Eagle FC to take a 3-0 lead when Kol Sitha added the third for the visitors in the 23rd minute.

But the home team were not about to be erased from the meet when Lim Tol scored a brace of his own in the 31st and 38th minute before Chea Vannada grabbed the one point for Kandal with the equaliser two minutes after the restart.
