DILI (22 August 2012) – Following the withdrawal of Indonesia (pix), there will be a revision to the fixtures for the AFF Women’s Championship 2012.
The tournament which is slated for 11-23 September 2012 at the Thong Nhat Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City, will now see just seven teams do battle.
There will still be four teams in Group A and they are Vietnam, Myanmar, Singapore and the Philippines.
With the absence of Indonesia, Group B will have only three teams and they are Thailand, Laos and Malaysia.
Only the top two teams from each group will make the cut for the semi-finals.
