PHNOM PENH (March 22, 2007) – Red Eagle FC stamped their authority in the quarter-finals of the Samdech Hun Sen Cup 2007 when they thrashed Onjha Kleang Moeung FC 7-0 at the Olympic Stadium.
The Red Eagles opened account as early as the seven minute through Soth Sa Aun before Nuon Sam Bol (10th), Tek Dem (20th ) and the second of the afternoon from Sa Aun in the 39th minute for them to take a 4-0 advantage at the break. In front of a well-attended crowd, the Red Eagles than added three more goals off Phany Chamroeun (78th), Tek Dem (85th) and Prom Makara (87th). In the meantime, Naga Corp FC also won big on the day when they overwhelmed Moha Garuda FC 5-0 (pic). Naga Corp’s goals were scored by Sao Vattey in the 19th minute, Teap Vathanak (27th), Teap Vathanak (53rd), Neang Tith Mesa (68th) and Men Pisith (80th). |
