PHNOM PENH (Nov 1, 2007) – A 9-0 beating of bottom side Baksey Chamkrong FC has given Red Eagle FC a strengthened position in mid-table as they avoid being in the second half of the Cambodian Premier League.
Three goals from Olece (16th, 25th and 29th minute) following a first minute strike from Chidindo Joseph gave Red Eagle a comfortable 4-0 lead at the break. The Red Eagle then added five more goals in the second half with Olece scoring a second hat-trick (54th, 58th and 72nd minute) to bring his personal tally to six goals in one match. The other goals for Red Eagle FC were scored by Chidindo Joseph, who grabbed his second goal of the afternoon in the 71st minute, while Soth Sa Aun completed the rout with a strike in the 79th minute in the one-sided affair at the National Olympic Stadium.
