JAKARTA (7 June 2013) – The FA of Indonesia (PSSI) have offered USD 100,000 (IDR 1 miliar) to the national team if they can beat Holland in a friendly that is to be played tonight at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium.
“Beat Holland, and we will give the team IDR 1 miliar (USD 100,000),” La Nyalla Mattalitti, the chairman of the PSSI National Team Management Board.
“Bonus will also be given to the team if they scored a goal. It is important that we state here that we will pay the team and not the individual as we want them to play as a team.
“We should look beyond the monetary reward as after all, the reason why we are giving the players a bonus is just a matter of appreciation for all their effort.”
