JAKARTA (2 Feb 2010) – The Indonesian FA (PSSI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)b with Football Federation Australia (FFA) to assist the former in football development.
Among the areas which will be focused on are coaching education, talent scouting and women’s football. “The MoU will not only strengthen football in both our countries, but also provide an excellent opportunity to increase people-to-people links between Indonesia and Australia,” said Bill Farmer, the Australian Ambassador to Indonesia. The Indonesia national team will take on Australia in their last qualifying match for Asian Cup 2011 in Brisbane in March. Indonesia are already out of contention for a place in the final rounds of the Asian Cup 2011 after collecting only three points to stay bottom in Group B. |
