JAKARTA (31 Dec 2011) – The FA of Indonesia (PSSI) have removed four of their Executive Committee members after founding them guilty of breaching the code of ethics of the association.
The four are La Nyalla Matalitti, Erwin D. Budiawan, Roberto Roue and Tony Aprliani. PSSI spokesman Eddy Elison confirmed the removal this week.
“We have found La Nyalla Matalitti, Erwin D. Budiawan, Roberto Roue and Tony Aprliani guilty in breaching clauses 6, 9 and 12 of the PSSI code of ethics and Fair Play and also clause 18,” added Eddy.
The four Exco members had apparently attended a meeting of the majority of the Indonesian football stakeholders in which they are demanding the PSSI to hold an Extraordinary Congress in March 2012.
Other than being removed from their positions as PSSI Exco members, La Nyalla and Tony also lost their posts in the districts. La Nyalla was the officer in charge of East Java while Toni was for West Java.
