JAKARTA (16 April 2013) – Looking for a fresh start, the FA of Indonesia (PSSI) have prepared funding of up to IDR 15 miliar (USD 1.6 million) to settle their outstanding debts.
And this will begin with the salaries of the coaches that have been rescinded of their contracts by the Indonesian National Team Management (BTN). Other than that, the money will also be used to settle hotel bills and various others.
“The amount of IDR 15 miliar (USD 1.6 million) will be used to settle the salaries of the various national coaches, referees and also hotel bills. All will be settled (by 19 April 2013),” said Tony Aprilani, an Exco member of PSSI.
Tony added that the funding came from sale of television rights, gate receipts from the national team games, sponsors and also contributions.
