JAKARTA (7 Jan 2013) – Regardless of whether players from the breakaway Indonesia Super League (ISL) will make an appearance, the FA of Indonesia (PSSI) have announced a list of 51 players for a centralized training camp this week.
The team is being prepared for the qualifying round of the Asian Cup which will begin next month with Indonesia being placed in a tough Group C against Iraq, China and Saudi Arabia.
Among the notable players from the ISL are Boaz Salossa, Richardo Salampessy and Patrich Wanggai – all from Persipura Jayapura – Ahmad Bustomi (from Mitra Kukar) and Andik Vermansyah (pix) as well as Endra Prasetya (from Persebaya).
Veteran Bambang Pamungkas, who played at the AFF Suzuki Cup last month, was also included.
