JAKARTA (15 Sept 2012) – The FA of Indonesia (PSSI) have announced Halim Mahfudz as the new general secretary to replace the post left vacant by Tri Goestoro recently.
This was announced following the Exco Meeting of the PSSI yesterday, that was attended by PSSI president Djohar Arifin and members Farid Rahman, Sihar Sitorus, Tuti Dau, Mawardi Nurdin, Widodo Santoso and Bob Hippy.
“Halim has all the qualities which we want. He is able to converse well in English and he understands the position of the general secretary and what it demands. He is also able to spend time in that position,” announced Djohar.
Halim is the founder of Halma Strategic which specialises in strategic communications and crisis management.
