 PHNOM PENH (9 Feb 2010) – Preah Khan Reach FC will take on Khemara Keila FC in the quarter-finals of the Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen Cup 2010.
Both Preah Khan and Khemara had scored identical 5-0 victories over their respective opponents in round of 16 – overcoming Oudar Meanchey Province FC and Prek Pra Keila FC respectively. Eng Saravuth was the toast for Preah Khan when he struck twice in the 72nd and 84th minute for the win as captain Sam El Nasa nailed the opener in the 43rd minute, substitute Tum Saray’s 60th minute effort and Jon Laboravy adding the other goal in the 78th minute. For Khemara, they had a hat-trick (40th, 53rd and 90th minute) from Chan Veasna to thank for their passage into the next round as they easily overcame their less experienced opponents. The other two goals for Khemara came off a double from Ty Bunvichit 64th and 74th minute. With the win, Preah Khan will square off against Khemara Keila in the quarter-finals of the Hun Sen Cup on 21 February 2010 at the National Olympic Stadium.
