PREACH KHAN REACH SECOND SPOT

Despite being two goals down early in the game when a double from Ek Vannak (6th and 13th minute) fired Post-Tel ahead, Preah Khan demonstrated their quality when Hok Sochivorn scored the first goal on 14th minute before the brace from Sam El Naza (66th and 71st).

The three points and the move up to second spot behind leaders Phnom Penh Empire FC is the highest ever position for Preah Khan for the current season.

But they will still have a lot of work to do to catch up with Phnom Penh considering that they are ten points behind with 23 points from 12 matches.

In the meantime, Khemara Keila FC solidify their position on fourth in the standings behind third-placed Build Bright United with a convincing 6-1 demolition of Phuchung Neak FC.

Four goals from Kuoch Komphiak (21st, 24th, 47th and 82nd) and then a double from A. Tunjiayoyinka (70th and 90th) completed the rout as Koua Mpoko scored the only goal for Phuchung three minutes to the end.

National Defense Ministry were also the big winners on the day as they romped to a 5-0 beating of Kirivong Sok Sen Chey FC.

Khim Borey nailed a hat-trick with goals in the 22nd, 52nd and 82nd minute and a brace from Um Komphiak (85th and 90th) gave National Defense Ministry the full points to be fifth at the table with 19 points from 13 matches.
