PHNOM PENH (18 May 2008) – Phuchung Neak FC nailed their second win in three matches of the Cambodian Premier League when they beat Intry Kraham Post FC 2-0 at the National Olympic Stadium.
Phuchung, who had lost their previous match 2-1 to Khemara Keila FC, were a lot more determined this time round when they cored a goal in each half of a highly entertaining encounter. Chham Bun Chhay was the first to open account with the lead in the 14th minute before Lappe Lappe added the second three minutes to the end. In the meantime, Build Bright United stamp their authority at the top of the Cambodian Premier League standings with an easy 3-1 win over Moha Garuda FC. Build Bright who had won their previous game against Intry Kraham FC, were quick to dictate the pace of the game with the first goal in the first minute of play off Sem Bunny. Prom Put Sithy then added the second goal of the afternoon in the 20th minute before Intry pulled a goal back six minutes after the restart off Pha Kolabot. But there was no stopping Build Bright from picking up their sixth points in three matches when Olisaemeka rounded off the afternoon with the third goal in the 82nd minute. |
