PHNOM PENH (11 May 2010) – Phnom Penh Crown FC still lead the standings in the Metfone Cambodian League following their 1-0 win over Kirivong Sok Sen Chey FC while Chhma Khmao picked up their first full points of the season when they edged out Wat Phnom by the same scoreline.
The league leaders continued to dominate the league when Keo So Ngan scored the only goal in the game in the 38th minute for them to pick up 14 points from six matches thus far in the season. Preah Khan Reach FC are second with 13 points from the same number of games while National Defense Ministry FC are third. In the meantime, Chhma Khmao had the solitary strike from captain Pao Phearith in the 31st minute to thank for their first win of the season after five defeats in six matches. The win has put Chhma Khmao just ahead of Preak Pra Keila FC who are still without a single point after six matches. |
