PHNOM PENH (28 April 2013) – Inconsistent Phnom Penh Crown FC moved up to fourth in the Metfone Cambodia League 2013 when they beat Kirivong Sok Sen Chey FC 3-1 at the National Olympic Stadium yesterday.
Elroy van der Hooft nailed a hat-trick with goals in the 10th, 56th and 60th as Kirivong scored their only goal of the game in the 24th minute through Ek Vannak.
With the three points, Phnom Penh have picked up 15 points from nine matches played.
Elsewhere, Svay Rieng FC edged Asia Europe University 1-0 with Sok Chan Ramsey scoring the only goal of the game in the 20th minute.
On the other hand, National Police had Srey Udom’s brace to thank in their 4-1 win over Senate. Srey was on target in the 71st and 89th minute as Noun Borey (38th minute) and Noeu Sosila (38th) scored the other goals.
Ty Bunnarith scored the only goal for Senate late in the 90th minute.
