PHNOM PENH (10 July 2008) – A last gasp goal from Chan Chhaya gave Phnom Penh FC a slim 2-1 win over Khemara Keila FC as they stayed at the top of the Cambodian Premier League for another week.
But it was Khemara who took the lead in the 28th minute off A. Tunjiayoyinka although Phnom Penh replied after the break from Chan Rithy for both teams to be on equal terms until the strike from Chhaya. In the meantime, Preah Khan Reach FC need not suffer such drama when they scored a goal in each half for them to be Moha Garuda FC 2-0. Both goals came off Kao Kiri in the 41st and 80th minute as Preach Khan reached the top three in the standings.
