PHNOM PENH (23 April 2012) – After a stuttering start to the season, defending champions Phnom Penh Crown finally got their fourth win on a trot where this week, they demolished Build Bright United 3-0 to further secure their place in the top half of the Metfone Cambodia League 2012.
Emmanuel Kwadwo Frimpong nailed the opener for Phnom Penh on 32 minute before Kim Borey added the second in the 76th minute and Kouch Sokumpheak a minute later.
In the meantime, newcomer Boueng Ket Rubber Field FC continued to impress where this time, they held seasoned campaigners National Defense MinistryFC to a 1-1 draw.
Boung Ket grabbed the lead through Chhin Chhoeun early in the fourth minute before Nwakuna Friday scored the equaliser six minutes later.
