MANILA (3 Feb 2015) – The highly popular United Football League (UFL) will begin on 7 February with defending champions Global FC under tremendous pressure to prove their worth.
Following losses in their last two competitive matches (the FA League Cup last year and also the recent PFF National Club Championship), Global will also be under scrutiny following their qualification into the group stage of the AFC Cup in 2015.
Global will open their campaign against Green Archers United.
Ten clubs will do battle at the top level in the Philippines top league with the team that finishes at the bottom of the First Division to be relegated to the Second Division, while the second tier’s champion moves up to the big league.
