MANILA (24 May 2017) – Philippines will take on China in a friendly on 7 June 2017, as part of their preparations for the qualifying round of the 2009 Asian Cup.
“We will have an international friendly between China PR and Philippines on 7 June,” said Edwin Gastanes, the general secretary of the Philippines Football Federation (PFF).
“We will now talk to the PFL clubs to explore the possibility of release of players for national team duties earlier than 5 June 2017.”
The friendly will likely be played in Guangzhou, China.
The Philippines will take on Tajikistan on 13 June 2017 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
