MANILA (25 August 2012) – The Philippines national team has squeezed in another game against Singapore in mid-November as they look to a better finish for the AFF Suzuki Cup later this year.
The match has been penned for 16 November at the Cebu City Sports Center football field in Cebu City. The two sides will clash for the first time on 7 September 2012 at the Jurong West Stadium before the return tie.
“Singapore has confirmed to play us on 16 November and it will be in Cebu City,” said Mariano Araneta, the president of the Philippine Football Federation (PFF).
The game will be the final tune-up tie for the Philippines before they open their campaign in Group A of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2012 on 24 November against hosts Thailand, Vietnam and the winning team from the October qualifiers.
