MANILA (4 March 2017) – The inaugural Philippines Football League (PFL) 2017 will kick-off in April as they look to inject more credibility into the professional game.
Previously under the United Football League, the formation of the PFL is a long time coming and which now has the support of almost all the major clubs in the country.
So far a total of six teams have confirmed their participation in the PFL and they are Ceres, Global, Loyola, Stallion, Kaya and JP Voltes.
The Philippines Football Federation (PFF) are looking at ten teams to take part in the inaugural season.
