MANILA (4 May 2016) – The Philippines Football Federation (PFF) begin selection trials this week as they look to pick out a group of 30 players ahead of the AFF U16 Championship which will be held in Cambodia this year.
The AFF U16 Championship will be held on 10-23 July 2016.
For the province of Visayas, tryouts are being held at the Ceres North Football Field in Bacolod City, Negros from 3-4 May 2016 and at the Don Bosco Technical College in Cebu City on 6-7 May 2016.
For Mindanao, tryouts will be held at the Westridge Sportsparks Villarin St. Carmen, Cagayan de Oro on 13-14 May 2016.
For Luzon, tryouts will be held in San Beda College, Mendiola on 16-17 May 2016.
The team is led by head coach Jose Maria Aberasturi.
