MANILA (14 Oct 2014) – Philippines bounced back from their last defeat to Thailand to beat Cambodia 3-0 in a friendly that was played at the Rizal Memorial Stadium tonight.
Daisuke Sato put the Philippines ahead in the 14th minute before Manuel Ott added the second in the 40th minute and then Philip Younghusband right at the death.
The Philippines under Thomas Dooley are still tweaking their squad ahead of the AFF Suzuki Cup which begins next week.
The team will be up against hosts Vietnam, Indonesia and Laos in Group A.
