MANILA (4 July 2014) – The Philippine Football Federation (PFF) are planning to build a national training centre in Carmona next year under the third FIFA Goal Project.
With a sponsorship worth USD 500,000, the plan is to build an artificial turf and other facilities to assist in the development of the various Philippines national teams.
“We just signed a lease agreement for two hectares there and we’ll have our Goal Project 3 (with a) full-sized artificial turf in Carmona. Likewise, FIFA have already initiated international bidding on the construction of the said training pitch of the PFF,” said PFF general secretary Edwin Gastanes.
“Hopefully, before the end of the second half of next year, we’ll have an artificial turf in Carmona with dressing rooms for all our national team aspirants.”
