MANILA (9 Feb 2014) – The Philippines Football Federation (PFF) have signed up former World Cupper Thomas Dooley as their new chief coach.
The German-born Dooley had represented the United States from 1992 to 1999, and where he has signed a year’s contract with the PFF.
His first assignment will be for the Philippines’ campaign for the AFC Challenge Cup in May.
“I’m excited with the task ahead,” said Dooley (pix). “The goal is to win the Challenge Cup. It will be difficult but we need to deal with the circumstances.”
