JAKARTA (21 March 2012) – Persebaya Surabaya will take on Negeri Sembilan in a friendly at the Paroi Stadium on 25 March 2012. This is the second time that the Surabaya-based club will play against a team from Malaysia this year.
Prior to the start of the season, Persebaya had played against Kelantan in a friendly called the Unity Cup with the former emerging victoriuous.
“We have received the invitation from Negeri Sembilan to play in the friendly,” confirmed Saleh Hanifah, the team manager of Persebaya.
The most famous name in Persebaya is Andik Vermansyah, who has been described as the Lionel Messi of Indonesia.
