JAKARTA (29 Dec 2011) – One of the biggest club in Uruguay, Club Atletico Penarol, have signed two Indonesian youngsters – Manahati Lestusen and Abdul Rahman Lestaluhu – to their payroll. The two players were part of the Sociedad Anonima Sportiva (SAD) team which had been playing in the Uruguay junior league.
“They will play for Penarol, just like Syamsir Alam, who used to play for the club,” said Adika Nuraga Bakrie, a representative of the Pelita Jaya Kronos which managed the SAD programme in Uruguay.
“I heard that Penarol will also extend the contract of another Indonesian player – Mohammad Zainal Haq.”
In the meantime, Belgian second division side CS Vise will sign another Indonesian player in Syamsir Alam where he will join Yandi Sofyan, Alfin Tuassalamony and Yericho Christiantoko.
