JAKARTA (26 May 2008) – The Indonesian Under-16 team failed to get the better of Penarol in the Uruguay Under-17 (Quinta Division) League 2008 when they were penalised 3-0.
And Penarol proved that they are playing on a different level altogether when they scored two goals in the first half and then another goal in the second half for the win. The Indonesian team had come into the game on a confident mood following their 8-0 beating of Boston River in their last match. Utilising a 4-3-1-2 formation, head coach Cesar Payovich put Tri Windu in goal with Alfin, Reffa Money, Ferdiansyah and Taji as the back four. The three midfield players were Zaenal, Ridwan and Ismail with Rinaldi Gunapradiptha as the supporting striker behind Syamsir Alam and Yandi Sofyan. The Indonesian U16’s next match will be against club Bella Vista. |
