SHAH ALAM (3 Nov 2013) – Pahang won only their third Malaysia Cup crown tonight when they beat holders Kelantan 1-0 in the final that was played this evening at the Shah Alam Stadium.
In what was a battle of teams from the east coast, Pahang emerged victorious with the only goal of the game coming in the 58th minute from Argentine Mathias Conti off a cross from Azamuddin Akil.
Pahang had won the coveted Malaysia Cup crown in 1983 and 1992.
