KUALA LUMPUR (10 August 2012) – The Malaysian national team conceded a 2-0 loss to Hungarian club Gyirmot Gyor FC in a friendly that was played in Budapest last night.
The team which is being prepared to defend their AFF Suzuki Cup crown later this year is currently in a training tour of Austria which also included three friendly games against local clubs from Austria and Hungary.
Initially, the team was supposed to play against Austrian club Mattersburg in their first friendly.
Against Gyirmot Gyor FC, the Malaysians conceded the first goal on 30 minute off Norbert Toth before the home team nailed the second goal right at the end through Magasfoldi Jozsef.
The team will take on Austrian club TSV Hartberg on Sunday before wrapping up their tour against Hungarian sideFC Szombathely Haladas two days later.
