BANGKOK (4 Jan 2010) – Bryan Robson, the head coach of Thailand, feels that the team just need one goal to beat Jordan in a crucial 2011 Asian Cup qualifying round at the Rajamangala Stadium on Wednesday.
“We have been working very hard in all areas,” said Robson. “I think one goal will be enough for victory.” Robson is confident that his Thai side can get back to winning form after suffering a defeat in their last qualifying match against Singapore at the same venue. “The team now is in a good shape and there is strong competition for every position,” he added. “The Thai fans are expecting a good performance and everyone wants to give it to them.” Robson said he was pleased with his team’s efforts in training where it will be a tough choice to name the strikers for the match. “There is not much to choose between them,” he quipped. Tickets for the 6.30pm kick-off match are available at 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 baht at Thai Ticket Major outlets and at the stadium on the match day. |
