BANGKOK (25 May 2011) – A hat-trick from Franck Ohandza of Cameroon gave Buriram PEA a well-deserved 4-0 win over SCG Samut Songkhram to extend their lead at the top of the Thai Premier League 2011 to six points.
Ohandza was on target in the 16th, 61st and 65th minute before Obama Joseph Florent completed a fine afternoon for Buriram with the fourth goal in the very last minute of play.
In the meantime at the Chonburi Physical Education Stadium, basement side Siam Navy drew 1-1 against TTM Phichit with Yeong Gi Sung scoring the lead for Phichit in the 15th minute before Olof Watson nailed the equaliser for Navy just six minutes after the restart.
Khon Kaen FC were also held 1-1 at home by Pattaya United.
After finding the back of the net in the 17th minute through Kampaeng Saiwut, Khon Kaen failed to prevent Pattaya striker Ludovick Takam from scoring the equaliser just before the break.
