BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (9 Jan 2014) – Brunei coach Kwan Oh-son will continue to trim his trainees from the current 108 players to just 30 by the end of the week.
These 30 players will then undergo intensive training before final selection.
“There are some special players who are impressive and very good. They have good speed and skills,” said Oh-son.
“Football skill is the most important trait that we are looking for at the moment. From there we will let them undergo training to improve further. Some of them have very good potential.
“We need players with good spirit and also good scoring ability. We are searching for those who have the ability to create for their teammates and also to score.”
The selection process is being done in preparation for the Hassanal Bolkiah Trophy slated for April.
