PHNOM PENH (6 Jan 2013) – It was not a great start for recently re-appointed chief coach of Cambodia Prak Sovannara when his team fell twice to Ulsan University in the two friendlies that were played at the National Olympic Stadium this week.
Cambodia conceded identical 1-0 losses to Ulsan University in the friendlies that was played on 4 and 6 Jan 2013. In the first match, Cambodia fell to a strike from Kwon Tae Chol in the 68th minute while in the second game, the visiting Korean side struck late in the 88th minute through Jeong Jong Hee.
Prak – who was the chief coach from 2008 to 2009 – took over the helm from Hok Sochetra following the team’s failed campaign in the qualifying round of the AFF Suzuki Cup last year.
The two matches against Ulsan University were supposed to be the start for of Prak’s preparation for the AFC Challenge Cup in March.
