JAKARTA (15 June 2017) – It is all full steam ahead for the Indonesian Women’s Futsal team in spite of the Ramadhan month where they are totally focussed for the task at hand.
With less than two months to go to the SEA Games 2017 in Kuala Lumpur, the Indonesian Women’s team has not taken time off even though most of them are fasting.
They trained around four hours a day where apart from technical and tactical work, they are worked on their aerobic capacity and hitting the gym.
“From such work routine, all players have managed to shed at least between 3-5 kilos,” said Andre Picessa, the head coach of the Indonesian Women’s team.
“Yes sure it is tough to work during this month but it is expected. We are working within limits. They showed that they can handle the expectation of hard work and having to fast at the same time.”
