SURABAYA (28 June 2013) – The Indonesian national Under-19 team is not planning to have any friendlies this week as they begin their first centralized training ahead of the AFF U19 Championship which they will be hosting this September in Surabaya.
The squad began their preparation this week in Jogjakarta with 40 players getting the call-up.
“At the moment, we have no plans to have friendly matches. We will have some test small-sided games between players,” said coach Inda Sjafri. “We will also be concentrating on physical and psychological tests on the players.”
A further 40 players will come for selection the week after.
