BANGKOK (19 Jan 2015) – After leading Thailand to their fourth ASEAN crown recently, Charyl Chappuis will play no part in the team’s campaign for the 43rd edition of the King’s Cup next month due to injury.
The King’s Cup will be played on 1-7 February 2015 at the 80th Birthday Stadium in Nakhon Ratchasima.
Following the absence of Chappuis, Thai coach Kiatisak Senamuang has called up Pokklao Anan as replacement.
In the meantime, North Korea have also pulled out from the tournament as did Croatia earlier.
Their places have now been taken over by Honduras and Uzbekistan as they complete the four-team tournament alongside the South Korean Olympic side and also hosts Thailand.
