BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (11 April 2013) – Brunei’s premier telecommunication company Telbru, have signed up as the sponsor for the National FA of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) National Youth League Under-16 Championship.
“We in NFABD welcome the support provided by Telbru. Hopefully the support will continue for many years to come as it is very important for NFABD as an association to get help from the NGO’s and private company in promoting the sport,” said NFABD Tournament Director Ali Ismail.
“We are focusing on football grassroots programme. We need a support especially in terms of financial in contributing to the development of football in the country.”
The MOU was signed by NFABD secretary general Mohd Noor Abdullah, with Lim Ming Soon, the Marketing Officer for Telbru. On hand to witness the event was NFABD vice-president Pehin Datu Indera Sugara Brigadier General (R) Dato Paduka Mohammad Yusof Abu Bakar.
Following the preliminary round in the four districts, the elite National Youth U16 League will begin on 21 April 2013.
