BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (19 March 2012) – Into the final lap of the DST National Football League the controlling body of football in Brunei, the National FA of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) have demanded more from the league participants.
Among the issues which was brought up at the briefing that was also attended by Mohd Noor Abdullah, the secretary-general of the NFABD were punctuality, discipline and also adjusting to the latest schedule for the league matches.
Following the month long break of the DST National Football League to make way for the Hassanal Bolkiah Trophy (HBT), Group A will restart with FC Phosphor taking on Setia Perdana on Friday at the Balapan Track & Field of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas.
Other than that, Berakas Besa FC will be against Lun Bawang while Indera Sports Club will entertain the Royal Brunei Armed Forces’ Sports Council (MS ABDB) as
Majra United FC take on Menglait FC. Then, Jerudong FC will play Seri Bolkiah 1 on Sunday.
For the DST National Football League this year, 32 teams have been divided into four groups. Only the group winners, the runners-up team and also the two best third-placed teams will win qualification into elite DST National Super League.
The DST National Football League is expected to end on 3 June 2012.
